JINJA — The youth have boycotted the district council elections after failing to agree on equal distribution of the top posts among the five counties that make up the Electoral College.

JINJA — The youth have boycotted the district council elections after failing to agree on equal distribution of the top posts among the five counties that make up the Electoral College. The youth who came to the Bugembe polling station in the morning, dispersed after disagreeing on the line-up of the proposed district council. The presiding officer, Alex Dhibwa, waited in vain for the quorum after the leader of the opposition, Boma Muzaaya, left with 14 members. This made the quorum of 37 members less by two. Ends
