Ah, Chebrot!

SIR— I congratulate Mr Stephen Chebrot, MP for Tingey, Sebei district. The New Vision on December 7 quoted him as having declared his wealth at sh3b. I wish other MPs follow his example. I am sure if MP Chebrot was asked to contribute to a fund for helping the elderly, I am sure he would help. Even Lt-Gen Salim Saleh, who is a good Samaritan, can help. Let the minister for the elderly and the one for ethics to launch this fund as soon as possible. There are many people whom God has helped to have wealth but which does nothing. Name withheld
