Police shoot UPDF officer

HOIMA - The Police on Sunday evening shot at a UPDF lieutenant attached to Bombo Army headquarters, Kampala, injuring him seriously. Lt. Stuart Mwesigwa, attached to the finance department, was rushed to Hoima hospital where he is admitted in critical condition. A group of about 20 policemen, headed by Hoima deputy DISO Lt. Charles Mwesige, stormed Mwesigwa's home at Kinubi, about a mile from Hoima town, after residents reported they had heard gunshots at Mwesigwa's home. Ends.
