EU meets Acholi MPs

KAMPALA - A team of 10 European Union diplomats yesterday held a consultative meeting with the Acholi Parliamentary Group (APG) over the peace process in the sub-region. The meeting at parliament House was to appraise the diplomats on the security and general condition of the people, especially those in protected villages, ahead of their visit to Gulu and Kitgum districts next month. Aswa MP, who is the secretary to APG, said the team will assess the economic and security situation in the north. Ends.
