KAMPALA - A Ugandan woman has been deported from the United States after she completed a two-year jail term there.

KAMPALA - A Ugandan woman has been deported from the United States after she completed a two-year jail term there. Juliet Seguya was escorted to Uganda by Interpol (US) and handed over to the Uganda's Interpol on October 20. Police spokesman Hajji Asuman Mugenyi yesterday said Interpol was carrying out further investigations on her in Uganda. Mugenyi said Seguya was arrested on January 17, 1999, at an airport in New York with one kilogramme of heroin, a narcotic drug, in a bag. Ends.
