KAMPALA Zone Nine mini league kicks off today with Kasanga taking on Aston Villa at CMB Bugolobi ground.

By Leo Kabunga KAMPALA Zone Nine mini league kicks off today with Kasanga taking on Aston Villa at CMB Bugolobi ground. At least 13 first division teams qualified for the promotional super mini league expected to be explosive as teams battle for one slot to Super league next season. Assistant general secretary Charles Kakande, the tournament is divided into four groups of three teams with exception of group D that has four. Group A has Wolves, Kasanga, Aston Villa, Group B comprises Revenue, Mengo and Miracle while Group C has Doves, Kireka and Kawempe and Group D has Wandegeya, Chicago, Nagulu and Mulungu. Entry charges will be adults sh1,000 and students sh 500 and security is expected to be tight. The semi finals will be played on Sunday and the final on Monday at the same venue. Ends.
