Museveni to open AIDS conference

By Stephen Ilungole PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni is expected to officiate at the official opening of the first ever international students conference on HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. The three-day conference organised by the Makerere University Students' Guild will run from December 10-13 at the St. Augustine Conference hall at Makerere University. The chairman of the organising committee Mr. Fred Magala told The New Vision however, "But the official opening where the President is to officiate, will take place at the International Conference Centre in Kampala on December 10."
