GULU - Gunmen on Thursday night abducted and briefly held three students of Alokolum Major Seminary. They demanded sh2m for their release. The gunmen broke into the school compound around midnight and took captive Atanastus Nyedwa from Hoima, Cipiriano Odonga (Gulu) and George Opio, (Lira) for three hours before the Uganda People's Defence Forces rescued two. The other returned a day later. Ends.
