LUGAZI - A pastor with a Pentecostal church was Friday charged with diverting sh32m for Poverty Alleviation Project to personal use. Bernard Bogere Senkubuge was charged jointly with a teacher, Ernest Basalilwa, both of Lugazi. Bogere, a director of the Uganda Foster Parent Plan, appeared before the Buganda Road Court. They denied the charges. The prosecutor said the men diverted the money between February and March 1998 at the Uganda Commercial Bank Lugazi branch. Ends
