MUK charges students

KAMPALA - Makerere University students who wish to stay at the university during the Christmas holiday for fear of ebola in their home areas, will be required to pay sh14, 000 each. The dean of students, John Ekudu, on Thursday told The New Vision, "The university is going to accommodate all the university students whether private or government-sponsored provided they come from areas hit by Ebola." Ekudu said the fee was levied because the Government had not given the university money for the students. Ends.
