I'm Museveni man-Rutagira

THE Movement chairman, Kambuga sub-county, Can. James Rutagira, has denied allegations that he had crossed from President Yoweri Museveni's task force to Col. Kiiza Besigye's. "I want to make it categorically clear that I have never changed my stand in the support of HE. Y.K. Museveni," Rutagira said in a statement yesterday. Rutagira was reacting to a news item on Voice of Kigezi on December 27, 2000 alleging that he had crossed to Besigye's task force. Rutagira is a member of the National Conference and the district task force for Museveni. He said, "I have never attended any of the purported Kiiza Besigye's meetings mentioned at River side." Ends.
