THE second phase of the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) programme was on Tuesday launched in Masaba sub-county, Busia district.
THE second phase of the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) programme was on Tuesday launched in Masaba sub-county, Busia district.
A total of 222 farmers selected from the sub-county chose enterprises under food security that included cassava cuttings, beans, maize and soya beans to help them fight poverty.
Dr. Patrick Opondo, the sub-county NAADS coordinator, said they had not only fulfilled the obligation of handing over the inputs chosen by the farmers, but would also continue to monitor and supervise the farmers.
