HE has not really put anything worth writing home about out since his smash hit Kapapala about three years ago. But singer David Lutalo knows only too well that when the going gets tough, the tough has to get going.

So, we are told that he is now setting up an orphanage to help underprivileged children get some semblance of a good life. We have heard that Lutalo who is working together with his manager, DJ Erycom, has in fact already acquired the piece of land on which the orphanage will stand.

Lutalo, who has a new struggling album out claims he is doing this out of empathy for orphaned and homeless children, something he experienced firsthand growing up as an orphan. Hmmm. How noble. Our more successful artistes should have thought of that.
