DORCUS Inzikuru still has work to do if she is to qualify for the World Athletics Championships due in Daegu, South Korea.
Inzikuru, who is recovering from a long off the field period once again fell short of the 9:50.00 qualifying mark in the women 3000m steeplechase. She was competing in the Primo Nebiola, in Turin Italy on Friday.
Inzikuru battled to reach the finish line in 9:54.69, over four seconds adrift of the qualifying mark.
She however still has time to hit the mark, since the qualifying period ends in mid-August.
But up coming star Geoffrey Kusuro confirmed that he was still among the best 5000m runners when he again ran below 13:20.
This is the second best time in the country this season, after commonwealth hero Moses Kipsiro.
