National badminton league takes off

THE Badminton Development Programme league kicked off at Entebbe Institute Club with a full house after all the registered 10 clubs turned up on the opening day on Sunday.

THE Badminton Development Programme league kicked off at Entebbe Institute Club with a full house after all the registered 10 clubs turned up on the opening day on Sunday.

Presidential Assistant PPS Norah Nassimbwa said State House will provide transport to the venue and logistics for clubs and players. “We are doing this for the good of the game and we will go on like this and may be more.”

The turn up was boosted by the national team players Rogers Bakaki (Rubaga), Shamim Bangi (Ndejje), Ivan Mayega (Ndejje).
