With less than 56 days to Uganda’s Presidential Election, candidates crisscrossed the country, sharing their vision for the 2026–2031 term. President Yoweri Museveni (NRM) rallied supporters in Namayingo and Mayuge, Robert Kyagulanyi (NUP) drew supporters in Arua, Nandala Mafabi (FDC) took his campaign to Gulu City and Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Mugisha Muntu (ANT) engaged voters in Serere District. Museveni in Namayingo & Mayuge
On his Wednesday campaign trail, President Yoweri Museveni (NRM) rallied supporters in Namayingo and Mayuge. Accompanied by the First Lady and minister of education and sports, Janet Museveni, the president was welcomed by enthusiastic NRM supporters.
