JINJA - The two-day nomination of candidates for Uganda's 2026 parliamentary elections concluded on Thursday (October 23), having been conducted across the country.
From east to west and north to central, hundreds of aspirants were cleared to contest for various parliamentary seats. While some candidates will be running on party tickets as flagbearers, others are in different races as independents.
Some are out to retain their seats, while others are determined to muscle those coveted political positions from them.
