After 14 strenuous days, Nebbi pilgrims reach Namugongo

To reach Namugongo, the pilgrims moved through two sub-regions (Bunyoro and West Nile) and walked through five districts (Pakwach, Kiryandongo, Nakasongola, Luwero and Kampala) before reaching the Catholic shrine. 

After 14 strenuous days of trekking, Nebbi Catholic Diocese pilgrims finally arrived at the Catholic Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo, Wakiso district, on Wednesday amidst jubilant scenes of ululation, spontaneous dances, and triumphant cheers. (Credit: Moses Nsubuga)
