Eldad Mwangusha signed off with a net score of 68 to claim the Stanbic Monthly Mug for March at Kitante on Saturday.
The event sponsors successfully hosted the March Mug golf tournament over the weekend, proudly celebrating women golfers under the theme "Accelerate Her at Tee-Time."
This event not only marked the conclusion of Women's Month but also showcased the bank’s commitment to empowering women in sports. All participating ladies received gift hampers, generously provided by the bank.
The day’s theme was an initiative which was part of Stanbic Bank's month-long activities celebrating the girl child during Women's Month.

Wendy Angudeyo and Sarah Nduhukire who carded 75 and 76nett respectively were the top players in the ladies Group A while Evelyn Atukunda and Connie Nshemereirwe were the best in Group B.
The other ladies out of the 40 who participated and stepped on the podium included Lydia Mutesi and Berna Musanabera who claimed the nearest and longest drive prizes.
Sam Bulenzi, Head of Coverage at Stanbic Bank, stated that the bank has a long-term strategy to support women, youth, and farmers, which drives socio-economic transformation in Uganda.
"Initiatives like this showcase our purpose: 'Uganda is our home, we drive her growth.' By empowering women golfers, we are not only promoting gender equality but also providing opportunities for women to excel," Bulenzi said.
The event concluded with a celebration at the 19th hole, featuring culinary recipes, music by Myko Ouma and the All-Stars Band, and the recognition of top performers with exclusive offers.
