Uganda's boys and girls teams have secured semifinal spots at the CAF African Schools Football Championship 2025 with dominant performances in their final group matches in Accra, Ghana.
St. Noa Girls School delivered a flawless group stage campaign, maintaining a perfect record without conceding a single goal.
They opened Thursday's action with a 3-0 victory over The Gambia, with Lillian Nabukeera scoring twice and Grace Kawino adding another.
Later, against DR Congo, Brendah Nassaka, Lydia Namaseruka, and Kawino sealed a comfortable 2-0 win to complete their group stage sweep.
The boys' team, St. Mary's Kitende, rebounded strongly after an initial 2-0 loss to hosts Ghana. They thrashed Algeria 4-0, with goals from Nabir Kajjumba, Muhoozi Henry, Livingstone Kulata, and Pius Kabenge.
Later, they overpowered South Africa 4-1, with Muhoozi, Kajjumba, Kyakuwa Ashraf, and Nsubuga Yasin all on target.
Uganda's impressive performances have set up exciting semifinal clashes as both teams continue their quest for continental glory.
