Uganda Rugby Union president Godwin Kayangwe wins re-election

Godwin Kayangwe has been re-elected president of the Uganda Rugby Union for his second term in an elective assembly that doubled as the annual general assembly at the Pearl of Africa Hotel on Sunday. 

Kayangwe won by landslide picking up 65 votes ahead of Philip Kiboijana. 

"The bar has been set so high and as you can see the attendance of the AGM was full. It was fully attended by all the delegates and of course lots of work has been done in the last year and probably why I have been entrusted to handle the second term," explained Kayangwe.

He admits that without a doubt the work will be more but he is ready for the challenge.
