Uganda Junior League returns with regional events
Each team will compete against every other team in their regional group once to qualify for the quarter-finals.

The Uganda Junior League (UJL) kicked off the 2025 season of the Private School League (PSL), featuring 24 elite private schools from Wakiso, Mukono, and Kampala over the weekend.
These schools are divided into four regions: Northern, Western, Eastern, and Southern. Matches in the Northern region began at The Twinbrook School.
In some of the matches for the under-11, Kampala Quality edged Gayaza Primary 1-0 through an Alex Ssonko goal as Stone Ridge beat Kira Junior 5-0. Benjamin Amali notched a hat trick, with Calvin Adam adding a brace for Kira in one of the high-scoring matches. Twinbrook also edged St. Catherine 1-0 before they drew 1-1 against Kampala Quality, with Ssengendo and Ssonko netting the goals.

Since 2023, UJL and Muscle Sports Club have been committed to promoting high-quality athletic events and inter-school initiatives among member schools and their student participants. Our goal is to organize, develop, direct, and manage a comprehensive program of interscholastic activities that uphold the ideals of our member schools.
The organization provides a platform to enhance interscholastic sporting activities as a vital part of the educational process. This is achieved through the establishment and maintenance of uniform policies that promote good citizenship and sportsmanship. These events will serve as significant talent identification opportunities for schools, clubs, and national team scouts to evaluate players.
Each team will compete against every other team in their regional group once to qualify for the quarter-finals. Following this, two semi-finals will be played, and the winners of these matches will meet in the Grand Final. The team finishing first on the ladder will compete for the Shield, while the top teams will compete for the Cup.
