Africa Region T20 World Cup Qualifiers

Today: Uganda v Zimbabwe

When the Cricket Cranes beat Zimbabwe two years ago, what had been a far-fetched dream instantly became a T20 World Cup ticket that was theirs to lose.

That could be the exact outcome of today's reunion between the two sides at Harare Sports Ground, as the Africa Region T20 World Cup Qualifiers get underway. Zimbabwe are favourites to win Group B, which also includes Tanzania and Botswana, and along with Namibia (who are in Group A), are considered top contenders for one of the two qualification berths for the T20 World Cup.

The top two from each group qualify for the semis, with the finalists going on to reach the World Cup.
