10 fortunate Uganda Cranes fans who invested with Cornerstone Asset Managers will have the chance to cheer for their national team in Morocco at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 finals.

The tournament is set to run from December 21 to January 18 in major cities of Morocco, and the lucky winners of the "Twende Morocco Ne Cornerstone" campaign will enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip.

The winners were revealed during a raffle draw held at Cornerstone Asset Managers’ head office in Ntinda, Kampala, on Friday, 21st November. Brian Alinda, the company’s head of marketing and distribution, congratulated the lucky participants and confirmed that the trip would cover all travel and accommodation expenses.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to our winners. The draw was completely free and fair, as shown in the online broadcast, and we are thrilled for the lucky 10. All of our investors were eligible, but only 277 entered the draw, and after careful selection, the winners emerged. This is an all-expenses-paid trip, and the only thing our winners need is their passport. We will head to Morocco to cheer on the Uganda Cranes together,” said Alinda.

Alinda also addressed the decision not to disclose the winners' names immediately, explaining that only their investment codes were shared for privacy reasons. He assured that the winners' identities would be revealed publicly once permission was obtained.

“Some of our investors prefer to remain private, and we respect that. We will contact each winner and those who are comfortable with being named in the media will be identified for interviews and further coverage,” Alinda added.

Simon Mwebaze, Managing Director of Cornerstone Asset Managers, also congratulated the campaign participants and reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting sports development in Uganda.

“We are delighted with the level of participation in this campaign, and we believe the winner selection process was as transparent as possible. Congratulations to all our fantastic investors, and we look forward to a memorable experience as we support the Uganda Cranes in their quest for AFCON glory,” said Mwebaze.

“We are committed to investing in sports growth in Uganda. We are already involved in basketball and are looking to expand into other sports as well. This campaign is just one example of how we intend to give back to the community through sports,” he added.

The "Twende Morocco Ne Cornerstone" campaign, which ran from September 12 to November 21, saw significant participation from Cornerstone’s investors.

As for the Uganda Cranes, they will be making their return to the AFCON finals after two missed editions. The team has been drawn into Group C alongside Nigeria, Tunisia, and Tanzania.
