The Uganda Bikers Association will continue to receive support from Centenary Bank in its efforts to promote road safety and tourism.

Fabian Kasi, the bank’s outgoing Managing Director, assured the bikers of this during a courtesy visit they made to bid him farewell at the bank’s head office at Mapera House.

“I’m surprised that you came to see me off. We have partnered for several years, and I assure you that what the institution has been doing will continue, as these activities are part of the bank’s strategy,” Kasi said.

“We are happy to have partnered with you. Your initiatives promote safety, a message the bank wishes to continue sharing. I have no doubt this partnership will continue,” he added.

The bikers’ group, led by President Angela Ssemukuutu, highlighted the importance of appreciating Kasi for his instrumental role in the success of the association’s initiatives.

The Uganda Bikers Association, an affiliate of the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU), focuses on promoting road safety, education, health, environmental protection, and tourism.

Ssemukuutu also announced that next month, from June 23 to July 2, the group will travel to Europe to tour six countries, aiming to promote Ugandan tourism in the region.
