Today @ Lugogo: Game 2
Rezlife v Namuwongo
Oilers v Jaguars

Nick Natuhereza's UCU Canons have a long history of losing playoff series openers.

Their ability to bounce back is just as reputable.

Joel Kayira grabbed a game-high 16 points to lead UCU to a series-tying 79-52 victory over the Kampala Rockets on Wednesday at Lugogo.

UCU, who lost Game 1 by a point, had eight other players score at least five points as they routed Daniel Jjuuko's  side.

Puati Kikomba nailed a team-high 10 points for the Rockets, who will take one more shot at their maiden playoff semifinals in Game 3.

The momentum, though, is with UCU, who unlocked their offensive potential in Game 2 and must be considered the favourites going into Sunday's series decider.

Today, the Namuwongo Blazers and City Oilers will be looking to prevent their respective series from going to the decider when they take on the Rezlife Saints and JT Jaguars.

The two title frontrunners are 1-0 up.
