Dhansuk Jesani plundered a monstrous 6/28 to inspire the Kutchi Tigers to an eight-wicket win over the Wanderers at the Entebbe Cricket Oval on Sunday.

Jesani tormented the Wanderers, who were bowled out for 79 in just 29 overs of their allotted 50, with Hitesh Prajapti putting up something close to a decent batting performance after scoring a team-best 25 runs.

Tembo Zubair added 12 runs and veterans Davis Karashani and Denis Musali 10 apiece before the Wanderers, who have one win, two ties and two losses, were dismissed.

Chasing such a comfortable total, Kutchi made no mistake as Sachin Gill’s unbeaten 39 and Nanji Pindoria’s 25 off 35 easily secured the victory for the Tigers, who moved to third in the standings with three wins in as many games.

Aziz Damani Development, with six wins out of six, lead the standings, four points ahead of the Challengers, who have won all four of their outings.
