Garden City Rooftop, Kampala was the place to be on March 30 for those who were looking for a perfect way to usher in the Easter weekend in style. The plot was the third of the Jameson & Friends do, organised by Talent Africa Group.

The day-into-night event moved into a bigger venue for the third edition, to give its young and hip revellers bigger space to devour the cocktail of fun as was lined up.

From games like pool table, Jenga, matatu, mini-golf and live sports action on wide screens, to competing in boards games like video games like FIFA, the crowd was in for a treat, not just a musical one.

Speaking of music, the lineup of DJs had their playlists curated for quite an electrifying night. But first, a calming and soothing set by Professor Joewi and the Black Waves band kept the crowd on their feet with their performances.

The production of the show was even better, this time, compared to the previous edition of the do, held last month at Design Hub, Bugolobi.

From sound, lighting, stage, to the picnic like decor set-up, the experience was generally good, one that could lure you into texting your long-lost ex to join you for a cocktail or two

To lift the tempo of the party a little higher, DJs Kasbaby, Bugy, Em That Guy and Tony had interesting sets that kept switching in such a seemless style. The mixes were anywhere within piano, EDM, Afrobeats, and any thing that could get anyone on their feet.

The highlight of the night was Swedish-based Ugandan artiste Tyra Chantey. Chantey, an RnB singer,. hit the stage with some of her famous songs including Stay In The Moment, Conman, Transits, and probably her most famous song to Ugandans - Water, featuring rapper Navio

Even though the crowd could not sing along to some of her songs, her voice was good enough to get them nodding along. Chantey was later joined by Lagum The Rapper and Kenyan fresh talented musician  Maya Amolo.

As the wee hours of Easter Sunday morning clock nearer, revellers began dispersing in pairs, some looking for where sunrise should find them, while others rushing to the comfort of their beds.
