The stage is set for the UFV Volleyball League playoffs that are due to kick off soon.

Six-time champions Nemostars led the regular season and will be the top-ranked side going into the finals but they will have the likes of defending Champions Sport-S, UCU, and KAVC for company.

As the top-ranked side in the regular season, Nemo will face KAVC, while Sport-S will take on UCU.

This will mark Nemostars' first return to the finals since 2021 when they lost to OBB. Luckily this is a big opportunity for all four teams to remain standing at the finals.

Nemostars in particular will want to prove a proper point and claim their seventh title but the trick isn’t to get too far ahead of themselves.

“We intend to ensure we do our fundamentals right, especially reception and service. With that aspect in check, I expect other aspects of the game to fall in line,” explained Nemostars coach Tom Amou.

Sport-S coach Benon Mugisha knows his team has to be at their best to stand up to a team as good as UCU who pushed them to a decisive game three in the playoffs.

UCU is a good team with good players with too much energy. we have to fight hard to get a win from them,” explained Mugisha.
