FUFA Women Super League
Sunday, 10am
She Corporate v Kawempe
Amus College v Lady Doves
She Maroons v Makerere
Asubo Ladies v Olila H/S
She Corporate head coach Belyse Ininahazwe will be looking to maintain her side’s impressive form and strengthen their grip on top spot when they take on Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC on Sunday at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, in what promises to be a thrilling FUFA Women Super League (FWSL) encounter.
Ininahazwe, who was recently named Coach of the Month for October, guided She Corporate to four wins in five matches during that period.
The Burundian tactician, who joined the club at the start of the season, has built a formidable side capable of challenging established giants Kawempe and defending champions Kampala Queens for this season’s title.
Sunday’s showdown will be a true test of She Corporate’s title credentials, with both teams level on 13 points after five matches.
Kawempe coached by experienced coach Ayub Khalifah Kiyingi, a five-time league winner and the most decorated coach in Ugandan women’s football have also been in superb form, winning four and drawing one.
The fixture will feature the two best defences in the league. She Corporate have conceded only two goals while scoring 10, whereas Kawempe have let in just three and netted nine.
She Corporate’s attacking duo of Jesca Namanda and Rebecca Nakato, who have a combined seven goals between them, Namanda with four and Nakato with three will be key to breaking down Kawempe’s disciplined backline.
On the other hand, Ininahazwe’s defence must be wary of Agnes Nabukenya, who scored a brace in Kawempe’s 2-0 victory over She Maroons last week, and Jovia Nakagolo, who has also found the net twice this season.
