Rugby Club KCB KOBs has been boosted by the return of back-row star George Scot Oluoch ahead of their 2026 Nile Special Rugby Premiership clash against defending champions Stanbic Black Pirates.
The two sides will face off on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Kings Park Arena, Kakajo Village, Bweyogerere, Wakiso District.
Scot rejoins KOBs after leaving Platinum Credit Heathens, a club he has served since 2019.
The former Rugby Cranes star, who was named the 2020 Real Star Rugby Finest, 2009 USPA Rugby Player of the Year, and 2009 Rugby MVP, has expressed his desire to retire at his former club.
According to KCB KOBs chairman Daren Rutagwera, Scot’s return is intended to inspire the younger players and help shape their future.
“You see the current players are not running away from being responsible for their lives, and Scot is here to help these young boys improve and shape their lives before retiring,” Rutagwera said.
Scot, who has previously played for Harlequins Rugby Club of Kenya as well as Ugandan sides Rhinos, Pirates, and Heathens, remains one of the country’s most experienced and decorated players.
