Namirembe tops under-12 in Eastern Region Private Schools League
Namirembe Parents' School dominated proceedings in the under-12, winning two matches with identical 1-0 scores against Creamland Junior School and St. Agnes Junior School.

The second edition of the Private Schools League (PSL) continued to excite with matches in the Eastern region at Landmark Junior School, Zana, on Saturday.
Namirembe Parents' School dominated proceedings in the under-12, winning two matches with identical 1-0 scores against Creamland Junior School and St. Agnes Junior School.
John Mary Waliggo and Imran Mukiibi grabbed the goals in the respective matches for Namirembe, who now lead the standings with six points, two ahead of Landmark Junior School, who won one and drew one match in the weekend action.
Landmark got off to a flier, beating Daffodils International School 3-0, with Abdu Salam’s brace and Raphael Masudi’s strike ensuring the victory. They then drew 1-1 with Creamland, with Shilak Obongo and Diego Kimono getting on the score sheet for either side, respectively.
St. Agnes, who lost 1-0 to Namirembe before winning 2-1 against Daffodils, are third in the table with three points, while Creamland, who drew 1-1 against Landmark, is fourth in the seven-team table. Landmark, though, had a perfect run in the under-10 category, winning 4-2 against Daffodils.
Felix Mutema grabbed a hat trick with Dalton Kisinde adding the other for Landmark, who also beat Creamland 1-0 through Kisinde’s lone strike. Brilliant Okwany and Hassan Shabbiru scored the consolation for Daffodils. St. Agnes was also a 3-2 winner in the same category against Daffodils, with Okwany and Shabbiru again on the mark while Koch Koch and Francis Majour scored for Daffodils.
In the under-8 league, Creamland and Namirembe are on six points each, having won their matches against St. Agnes (2-0) and Daffodils (3-0) and against Landmark (1-0) and St. Agnes (2-0), respectively. Bright Mugenyi and Brian Patrick scored for Creamland in either match, while Michael Okello, Garmel Ssempijja, and Calvin Peter scored for Namirembe.
