Death has robbed motorsport of a very humble, calm gentleman, a committed athlete with a strong spirit and energy for the sport.

"It is tough to comprehend, we pray for eternal rest and strength for the family, fans and motocross fraternity for such a sudden loss,” one of his motocross friends said

Racing in the veterans class, Juncture Serugunda popularly known as “Robotic” was a darling because of his demeanour.

Serugunda crashed during practice of the third heat of the combined M125 and veterans’ class and was rushed to the ambulance, however, there was a delay in taking him to the hospital as medics were stabilising him.

They later took him to Hospital Masaka where he was pronounced dead.

Juncture was the Uganda team captain to the FIM MXOAN in Uganda in South Africa.
