MOSCOW - Moscow Fashion Week (MFW) solidified Russia’s position as a major player in the global fashion scene.

The week-long event showcased a dynamic blend of established names and rising stars, offering a glimpse into the trends that will shape the future of fashion.

It was a global stage for emerging designers and cultural diversity. Designers from different countries participated, including China, India, Turkey, South Africa, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Russia.

Russian designers took the center stage, and showcased a fusion of heritage and innovation, with labels like Abzaeva, Ermi, Irmasari Joedawinata, Sergey Sysoev, and Solangel, incorporating ancient costume designs in modern textiles, offering an aesthetic style flair.

ZHIHUA, a Chinese designer who presented down jacket fashion influenced by Eastern culture.

The festivities extended beyond the runway, climaxing into a lavish gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel. Through its polished glass doors, a world of luxury and cascading chandeliers and plush furnishings.

Delegates from around the globe mingled, indulging in fine dining and forging invaluable connections within the global fashion community.

Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Moscow Mayor said, “The attendance figures 60,000 residents and online viewership reaching 5 million each season.”

The designers showcased their latest collections in two iconic venues: the Manege exhibition hall and the architecturally Striking VDNH.
