2022 FIFA WORLD CUP ⚽️

Morocco beat 2010 champions Spain on penalties to reach the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals for the first time in their history on Tuesday after the match finished 0-0.

The African side won the shoot-out 3-0 after Spain failed to convert all three of their spot kicks.

The World Cup last-16 game was forced into extra-time after the two sides finished level at 0-0 at the end of normal time at Education City Stadium in Qatar.

Luis Enrique's men had the bulk of possession but clear-cut chances were at a premium.

Spain were looking to win the World Cup for the second time but they were stopped by  a Morocco team determined to reach the quarter-finals for the first time ever.
