Cricket World Cup Challenge League B
Uganda 148 Tanzania 89 (Uganda win by 59 runs)
Juma Miyagi was due a statement performance. It came in Uganda’s final outing of Cricket World Cup Challenge League B on Saturday at Mong Kok in Hong Kong.
And to say it was timely would be an understatement.
Miyagi ripped through Tanzania after the Cricket Cranes, perhaps still celebrating their prior victories, found themselves in a spot of bother after scoring a paltry 148 in their innings.

Miyagi took 6/17 as the Cricket Cranes bowled out Tanzania for 89 in 29.1 overs.
Cosmas Kyewuta took 2/17 in five overs, while Bilal Hassun and Dinesh Nakrani added one wicket apiece for Riazat Shah’s side, whose innings was once again led by Raghav Dhawan. What a tournament the 38-year-old has had in Hong Kong.
Dhawan scored a game-best 63 against Tanzania, making it the fourth time in as many games he scored at least 52 runs. Dhawan scored 71 against Singapore, a tournament-high 85 against Bahrain, with his lowest return being the 52 against Hong Kong.

It is a mind-blowing return from Dhawan, whose best return in the first leg was the 46 he scored in the crucial 24-run win against Italy.
Ultimately, Uganda’s unbeaten run through the second leg, which maintains their grip on top spot, has been a collective effort.
