Magezi clinched the accolade by amassing 285 net points in the Namulonge NCBA monthly Mug competition, competing in seven of nine events and winning two monthly titles.

The organizers determined the overall winner by selecting the best four scores from nine outings.

For the women’s category, the December results crowned Entebbe golfer Ester Aganyira as the winner with 74 net points. “I had a baddie on hole 4 and a par on 9, which excited me. I’ll return next year,” Aganyira said.

NCBA Bank Managing Director Mark Muyobo pledged continued investment in Namulonge's golf infrastructure, citing the area's growth and the bank’s commitment to promoting golf in Uganda. “We’re expanding our support for junior golf programs and clubs across the region,” Muyobo confirmed.
