Rwanda v Uganda
Cosmas Kyewuta took 4/39 and Uganda restricted Nigeria to 128 to claim a 23-run victory and make it seven wins at the Africa Continental Cup.
Kyewuta led Uganda’s defence, which may not have bowled out the Nigerians but firmly kept them at bay before inking a 23-run win. Kyewuta, who was also named the player of the match, contributed 16 runs to Uganda's first innings total of 151/8.
Uganda finished with six double-digit scorers, led by Dinesh Nakrani with 32. Fred Achelam, Alpesh Ramjani, Simon Ssesazi, and Pascal Murungi had 28, 15, 14, and 11 respectively.
Nigeria’s Slyvester Okpe led all scorers with 41 runs.
Uganda, already through to Saturday’s final, conclude group action tomorrow against Rwanda.
