In the second half, winger Masudi converted a penalty to send Kyadondo through. They will face reigning champions Buddo SS in the quarterfinals on Sunday.

In another round of 16 clash, Amus College School edged Mentor SS 1-0. Ivan Otim’s beautifully drilled free-kick in the 21st minute proved to be the winner. “We knew the kind of opponent we were facing being the home side with a big crowd. We had the right mentality and we are glad to qualify for the quarterfinals,” Malinga said.

Elsewhere, London College Nansana advanced after a goalless draw and a 4-2 penalty shootout win over Mbale Progressive Secondary School. Kyadondo SS will face Buddo SS, while Amus College School will take on London College Nansana in the quarterfinals on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Holders Buddo SS also advanced, beating Kawempe Muslim SS 2-1 with a brace from Ambrose Aboy. Ukasha Kimbowa scored the consolation for Kawempe Muslim.
