The Masaka-based side showcased their attacking prowess, with Maxensia Babirye, Annet Awooki, and Britney Nalubega each scoring four tries (20 points apiece). Their dominant run included a 69-0 semifinal thrashing of defending champions Kigezi Queens.
"While we celebrate this achievement, challenges like limited playing opportunities and resources remain," acknowledged Buddu Cuppaz manager Keith Asiimwe.
Guest of honor Seth Murari emphasized the importance of discipline in sports during the trophy presentation: "This generation has immense potential, but success demands professionalism and dedication."
The KIU Crowz now await the Central Region champions for a playoff that will determine promotion to Uganda's top-flight rugby competition.
