Steven Kissa is the fastest Ugandan ever across the marathon. Next to him, Victor Kiplangat.
The good news, both will represent Uganda at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August.
Kissa and Kiplangat both declared for selection as part of the three-man team for the World Championships, with Andrew Kwemoi completing the list.
The women's team, including Rebecca Cheptegei, Mercline Chelangant and Doreen Chesang, was also submitted.
Kiplangat set the national record (2:04:48) at the Hamburg Marathon last year in April. Kiplangant set his mark (2:05:09) in the same race, before going on to claim the country's first ever gold in the Commonwealth Games marathon.
Uganda boasts a gold medal and a bronze in the marathon at the World Championships, won by Steven Kiprotich in 2013 and Solomon Mutai in 2015 respectively.
