The partnership between Future Stars Multi-sports Training Camp and Chapa General Enterprises Limited has ushered in a new era of excellence, reinforcing the camp’s position as one of Uganda’s premier sporting events.

Chapa General Enterprises Limited, renowned manufacturers of Chapa laundry bar soap, Prestige Margarine, and other household products, has pledged full support for the 10-day residential camp, which promises to be a transformative experience for young athletes.

Yasin Kazibwe, Sales and Marketing Manager at Chapa General Enterprises, expressed excitement about the collaboration.

“We are thrilled to be part of this visionary initiative, which seeks to identify, nurture, and develop young talents across various disciplines. At Chapa, we believe a good sportsman is healthy, happy, hygienic, and passionate about their craft. We are committed to creating an environment that fosters this ethos,” he said.

Kazibwe outlined the company’s comprehensive support package, which includes attire, detergents, nutritious snacks, and margarine fortified with vitamins A and D.

“Our aim is not only to promote hygiene and boost athletes’ health but also to reward their exceptional performances with impressive hampers,” he added.

The camp, scheduled for December 7–17 at Gayaza Junior School and Gayaza High School in Wakiso District, will feature more than 10 sports disciplines, including netball, football, table tennis, badminton, swimming, darts, basketball, chess, lawn tennis, and scrabble.

Simon Mugabi, CEO of the Uganda Badminton Association and camp coordinator, expressed confidence in the event’s success.

“With our team of expert technical personnel, certified coaches, and sports educators, we are poised to create an unforgettable experience for these young athletes. We encourage parents to seize this opportunity and let their children be part of this extraordinary event,” he said.

Mugabi also emphasized the camp’s holistic approach, which integrates career guidance, mental health lessons, and fitness training.

“Our program is carefully crafted to promote discipline, healthy lifestyles, and sportsmanship, ensuring that these young athletes are equipped with the skills and values necessary to excel in their chosen fields,” he added.
