Ahead of Thursday’s Radio and Television Academy Awards (RTV), tonight you can catch the radio and television nominees at Club Galaxy, Bombo Road, bracing for the big day.

The broadcasters, expected to dress to the moon, will mingle with their fans in an event expected to be fun-filled.

For the first time, native radio and television broadcasters will get recognised by their fans for spewing out information and entertainment to the natives over the times.

There will be lots of edibles and drinks and music will be spun by some of Kampala’s top radio deejays. The party will rage on until the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

Over 42 awards from different categories will be dispensed to the winning presenters on the awards day.

The nomination list was released May last year and voting has since been raging on through social media and phone texts.
