All roads lead to the Busiika, Luweero district on Boxing Day December 26,2 for the final National Rally Sprint.

It will be a grueling and fully action-parked day as the 2023 Motorsport Calendar comes to its climax at the Uganda Motorsport Arena, Busiika.

A record 58 entries have been made for the one-day thrilling event that will be summed up with the battle between the top three pairs in the rallying discipline on a double circuit track.

Rally Ponsiano Lwakataka

The pair of Yasin Nasser with Ronald Sebuguzi, Suzan Muwonge vs Ponsiano Lwakataka, and Speed Merchants John Consta vs Duncan Mubiru will sum up the day that promises to be exciting.

Sebuguzi in Ford Fiesta Proto, the three-time national champions dare Nasser, the 2023 national Rally champion in a Ford Fiesta R5.

Sebuguzi beat Nasser in the Pearl of Africa Uganda rally Super Special stage in Jinja and targets the same today in Busiika.

"We are already and want to end the year on a winning form," The Shell V-Power fueled driver told Vision Sport.

It is the battle motorsport fans have been waiting for, and they will be joined by the Tanzanian crews of Randeep Singh navigated by Tejinder Bala and Manveer Birdi all driving a Subaru Impreza GVB.

Jona Kansiime, Byron Rugomoka, Ibrahim Pasuwa, and Umar Dauda who recently won the season NRC ender in Fort Portal, and Peter Kalule.

It will be the second time rally drivers will face off on both the tarmac and Maram lanes with the last one being last year.

The event will start with motocross action in the morning and later in the afternoon rally competitions.

The drivers will also use the event to test their cars ahead of the new season that starts with the MPU rally in February.
