“Going into the game against Olila, we aren't looking down, we set our targets to win all the games at a time and they are up for the task,” Anyau said.

“The results will come if we play to our strengths and according to the game plan. After a 3-0 win against Lango Queens, I expect the players to perform better than that.”

Amus women’s team commonly known as Byafaayo is currently in second position in the Victoria Group with 7 points from their three games.

“We are left with two games at hand against Olila Women’s Club and Echoes Women’s Club, which I’m sure of getting 13 points to top the table," said Samuel Opio, the CEO of Amus Women’s FC.

Currently, Olila Women’s Club which was relegated from FIFA Women’s Super League to FUFA Women Elite League are table leaders with 12 points against 4 games with one game at hand.

“We will go into the game knowing that Amus Women’s FC is a very good side, and have been meeting on several occasions. But we have been improving with each game that we have been playing and I believe we can get something from them come December 19th,” Cifu Pande coach Olila Women’s Club said.

“We want to upset the hosts in front of their home crowd and I believe we can.”

According to Pande, they aim to return to play in the FUFA Women’s Elite League next year.

“So far, the team is so good, it's now upon us to come out from the women’s elite league unbeaten then look at lifting the FUFA Women’s supper League trophy once again,” he noted

Teams in the Victoria group include Olila HS WFC, Lango Queens, Amus (Byafayo Queens), Sacred Hearts, GYCO Girls, and Echoes HS WFC.
