The fourth Absa Kampala Hash Harriers 7 Hills Run (Absa KH3 – 7 Hills Run) has been rescheduled to May 17, starting at Millennium Park, Lugogo.

This year, Bakaima Real Estate has increased its support by providing two land titles for the top male and female finishers in the 21km race, making 2026 the most rewarding edition yet, in addition to a sh10 million cash sponsorship.

These contributions will help expand access to education, especially for girls, which is the primary goal of the run.

Additionally, the top two men and women who finish all seven hills will qualify for the Absa Black Stars Marathon in Accra, Ghana.

The symbolic handover took place at Bakaima Group's head office on Monday, attended by senior leaders from both organisations. Absa Bank Uganda was represented by Managing Director David Wandera, Retail and Business Banking Director Moses Rutahigwa, and Head of Mortgages Concy Akiteng. Bakaima Group was represented by CEO Karim Kawesa, Director of Sales and Marketing Godfrey Lule, and General Manager of Affordable Housing Medard Owoyesigire, demonstrating the group's commitment to the partnership.

This year's enhanced prize structure promotes inclusion and empowerment by recognising excellence in both male and female categories, supporting the broader mission of enabling opportunity through sport. Absa Bank Uganda's executive management also presented running kits to Bakaima staff, encouraging active participation ahead of the event.

Kawesa highlighted that the group's involvement extends beyond real estate, supporting initiatives that drive social progress, promote wellness, and create opportunities for individuals and communities. The run serves as a national platform for purpose-driven action, where performance creates meaningful impact.

There are three races this year – 5km, 10km, and 21km – all starting at Millennium Grounds, Lugogo
