Counsel Paul Musedde appreciated the services of the men in uniform and government support on bikes and also urged the government to exempt taxes on the vehicle used in the transportation of bikes.

“We are grateful for the services of the men in uniform and giving back to them is one way we cherish so much. However, we request the government to help us and wave off taxes on some of the types of machinery we use including the vehicles that use on these bikes,” Musedde said.

Major General Leopold Kyanda on behalf of the Chief of the Defence Forces General Wilson Mbasu Mbadi thanked Barak Orland for the initiative to give back to the men in uniform.

He added that as the UPDF they are very grateful and committed to supporting civilians and sports.

The team chairman led by Michael Nuwagira aka Toyota pledged commitment to support motorcycling because sports give opportunities to the youth.

The event was co-sponsored by Stabex, MAU, and Vision Group.
