Fifteen Ugandan motocross racers will represent the country at the 2026 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, scheduled for July 3–5, 2026, in the Czech Republic.
Miguel Katende, Jude Kyle Musede, Eadrick Musede, and Jonathan Katende will lead Team Uganda in the three-day global championship across three junior classes: MX65cc, 85cc, and MX125cc.
The prestigious event will feature the world's best young riders competing in three distinct displacement classes.
In the 65cc class, Jude Kyle Musede, who sits at the top of the class log, will lead a five-man team that includes Emil Segirinya, Jerome Mulumba, Eadrick Musede, and Solomon Winyi.

In the 85cc class, Jonathan Katende will lead the Ugandan squad alongside Ethan Musede, Ethan Katek, Isaac Mitima, and Ashraf Mbabazi Jr.
The MX125cc class will feature Miguel Katende, Jerome Mubiru, Ally Kimera, Jason Burrows, and Adam Kabuye.
The Ugandan team is currently funded by parents. Denis Musede, father of Jude Kyle Musede, said the trip is very expensive for the families, but they will try their best to ensure Team Uganda competes and secures positive results.
"The World Championship is expensive, and if I fail to make it, then we will concentrate our efforts on the African Championship (MXOAN) in Namibia in August," Musede said. He added that if proper energy is invested in the right places, his rider will finish in the top five.
