Renowned Nigerian artiste Dunsin Oyekan has emphasised the importance of vulnerability before God.

“Real men are vulnerable before God," the Yah singer declared.

Oyekan was speaking at the seventh season of the annual men's conference hosted by Apostle Grace Lubega, the general overseer of Phaneroo Ministries International, under the theme The Priest. Hundreds of men attended the event.

Oyekan urged men to surrender everything at the feet of the Almighty, be it their bank accounts, finances, achievements, or businesses.

“Lay before the Lord the things that easily beset you. It is at the altar that we know real men," he said.

Pastor Poju Oyemade from Nigeria also emphasised the need for every man to dwell continually in the presence of God.

“You cannot birth supernatural results when you are disconnected from the working power of His Spirit,” he asserted.

Oyemade also reminded the audience of God's enduring goodness and boundless grace, urging them to sing His praises regardless of prevailing circumstances.

The day kicked off with a dynamic array of activities, ranging from aerobics and archery to tug of war, brain teasers, and counselling programmes led by men aged 50 years and above.

Besides Oyekan, there were performances from the Phaneroo choir, and gospel artistes, including Titus Kuteesa, Kajambiya, Papa T Maurice, Coopy Bly, Javie, and Raymond.
