KIGALI — The Rwandan government on Thursday launched a national digital platform designed to connect startups, investors, talent and ecosystem support organisations.
The Innovate Rwanda platform serves as a central gateway to Rwanda's innovation ecosystem, making it easier for founders, partners and investors to discover opportunities, collaborate and grow innovative ventures, according to a statement from the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Innovation.
By providing a single hub for the ecosystem, the ministry said the platform helps ensure that innovators can access the resources, visibility and networks they need to scale their ideas.
For startups, the platform serves as a gateway to opportunities across Rwanda's innovation ecosystem, while for investors, it provides a clearer view of Rwanda's startup pipeline, according to the ministry.
"Founders can create profiles to showcase their ventures, discover relevant support programs, access funding and partnership opportunities, and connect with ecosystem organisations that can help them grow," the ministry said.
